Dr Hemangini Gupta

Dr Hemangini Gupta is a Lecturer in Gender and Global Politics at the University of Edinburgh. Her research spans feminist and queer theory, postcolonial studies, and the intersections of labor, capital, and technology, particularly in South Asia. Her work includes ethnographic studies on startup capitalism in Bangalore and explorations of entrepreneurial economies and ecological costs in data projects.
